Bernie, our daughter's partner, is on the front page of a national television programme magazine. His role, as Hugo, in the soap, "Home and Away" is entering a climax in the story line so it's 'big news' in the soap world. We are proud to see him on the cover. Inside the front page there is also an article about Bernie and Sonya becoming parents.
Bernie and Sonya article. Wow, we are celebrity parents.
Wow is right! How cool is that? You know, we have to know that those "beautiful people" of TV and movies have families and REAL lives..but I've never known one before..not that I really know..you know?!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love that they included that article about Sonya and baby Buebli in there. :-)
ReplyDeleteDo you watch the show he is in?
That is so exciting for you and your family, sorry to say we do not watch Home and Away.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you and the whole family....... hope you get to see your Grand a lot.
Yeehah! How cool is that! You will have to keep that for little Fox ... although maybe his daddee already does that!
ReplyDeleteOh what a lovely article on your sil and his new status. I love that you use "nappy" in Australia as well. Thanks for sharing, diane.
ReplyDeleteWe only watch the episodes that Bernie appears in as the show itself is not the type of show that we enjoy.
ReplyDeletehow nice to have a telly star in the family. :)
ReplyDeleteDiane as H & A is not a show we watch in our household I am not familiar with Hugo but he certainly is one of those 'Beautiful People' in more ways than one. How cool is it that he has chosen your beautiful family to call his own.
ReplyDeleteOoo we're brushing with fame knowing you.
ReplyDeleteWell I'm impressed! And I think I agree with Joan Elizabeth. I'll have to pull H&A up on youtube.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is truly with a BIG celebrity, Diane. I used to LOVE soap operas --and watched them off and on for many years. We did get emotionally involved with the characters...
ReplyDeleteIn Beauty and the Geek---Bernie has to be the BEAUTY. He is so gorgeous ---and so is Sonya. I didn't know they weren't married though. OR --if I did, I'd forgotten. Young Adults these days don't see the need to get married --like we did when we were their age. I guess that I'm old-fashioned though.. I hope they do get married.
Thanks for sharing the celebrity in your family... Do people bother them when you all go out to eat??? i would think the life of a celebrity would be hard.
Hugs,
Betsy
Diane you'll be at the Logies next!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great article for the baby's scrapbook - you must be so proud.
Cheers,
Cindy
What a handsoem young man! Hope his role continues for a long, long time...it must be fun to watch him on TV!
ReplyDeleteI saw that article and remembered that we had an 'exclusive' on your grandson's name, from our bloggers meeting last month. :)
ReplyDeleteSydney - City and Suburbs
I imagine that you are happy and proud about this and purr like a little cat ! (can't say big cat in your case !)
ReplyDeleteJust found this article, that is so very cool Diane. Very exciting!
