Yesterday it was our eldest daughter, Carol-Ann's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
She lived in England for many years and loved hiking with her husband, David.
She loved visiting Australia and her family.
She calls herself, "My father's daughter." as she has many similar traits and habits as he.
She is a happy person.
She was sad to leave London.
I was overjoyed to have her back in Australia.
Now she is happy to be an Aunty but not sure about being a mother.
She looks every inch a fun-loving aunty & daughter! You and Bill are to lucky to have such conteneted children.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun set of photos Diane!
And BTW, I ain't no lady! (Python "Lady" comment!)
Cheers,
Cindy
That should read "Contented". I've done my shoulder and am typing with one hand!
ReplyDeleteShe would be a wonderful mother!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the peek into the family album! She's a lovely young woman.
ReplyDeleteTHere is such a big difference between being an aunt and being a mother. She needs to take her time. The photos and the poses are just terrific. My kids refuse to pose like that for me, or maybe I am just not fast enough. She may be her father's daughter, but golly she is the spitting image of you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely family you have - the famous ones and the not-so-famous. It must be odd to see someone you know so well plastered all over a magazine (yesterday) - you'll be keeping that edition to show to Fox when he grows up.
ReplyDeleteIt does the heart good to see such unbridled joy.
ReplyDeleteShe's a light, that's for sure! And, she has your amazing smile - so Happy Birthday to Carol-Ann and happy anniversary of your first born daughter!!
ReplyDeleteCarol Ann is such a beautiful young woman. Happy Birthday to her!!!! She always has a smile on her fact---just like her Mama....
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of her.
Hugs,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteOK, so I Googled "doona" (from your comment on my blog) and learned that's is Australian slang for blanket, comforter, duvet cover - is that right? I love it! I ALWAYS learn something of your country, your surroundings and your language from you..so thank you!
