EVERYONE LOVES A PARCEL

The courier brought us a parcel.

"Hey Diane, the parcel has arrived."
"Yippee, our travel documents have arrived with some goodies too. This backpack looks handy."
"Yep, it fits and not too big."
So, what did we end up with? 2 backpacks, 2 laundry bags, a document holder and........
........a guide book for Canada and Alaska, the itinerary, the air tickets, and information booklet together with health forms and baggage labels. The cruise ship documents I had to download from the internet.
Soooo in two weeks we will be on our way. Rah, rah, rah. Do I sound excited? This trip has been on my bucket list for years, I can't believe it is about to happen.

  1. You have a good travel agent to give you such goodies and the back pack. Are you going to backpack in Canada?

  2. I should ask you if you are traveling P & O. Why did they give you a back pack when you are traveling in style?

You're both too OLD to carry those backpacks; wouldn't you rather bring a personal porter?

  6. Ann, We are not travelling with P&O but with Scenic Tours and Holland America. The backpacks are for day trips and shore excursions. They also double up as hand luggage in the plane and train.

  29. That is a nice batch of goodies, the day packs will really come in handy. You and Bill are going to love Alaska, I can't wait to hear your impressions of the state. Canada isn't half bad either, LOL!

  30. DIANE! I AM COMING WITH YOU!!! I am sure I can get into one of those backpacks!

Both Jez and I believe we are Canadians born in OZ by mistake. Not that I don't LOVE Australia, but sometimes you just hanke for coniferous forests and slmon jumping out at you.

I am SO ENVIOUS!!!!! Take a bazillion photos to share please!

    Cheers,

    Cindy
