Our daughter, Sonya, SIL Bernie and little Fox have returned to Sydney from LA for seven weeks. Bernie has been asked to host another series for Channel 7, which is paying all their travel and accommodation expenses. So naturally we had to come to Sydney to see them and our other two, Carol and David as well. We are staying at Bondi Beach, a famous Sydney beachside suburb. It is crowded with tourists in summer but now, in winter, it is left to its itinerant cosmopolitan population.
Mummy takes me to the park every day and I love it.
I especially like Grossvati pushing me high.
Hey look mummy stairs for me to climb.
While I drag mummy and grandma up and down the stairs until they are pooped, Grossvati enjoys ......
view of Bondi Beach in winter.
Oh how neat---that the kids are back for awhile... I know you and Bill are THRILLED. That little boy is adorable. I laughed at his 'American' Gap sweatshirt.... Cute!!!!!

Bill
ReplyDeleteIt ain't that cold!!!
The surf looks great and no crowds, you could do your "whale whoops" all by yourself! ha ha.
Have you lost all your spirit of adventuresome youth??? C'mon, next Bondi photo, on with the red speedoes and hit the waves!
Show young Fox how "Grossvati" does it.
Colin
Fox is cuter than ever. He looks as if he has enough energy to keep several adults on their toes. I'm sure you will enjoy the time they are back in Australia with you.
ReplyDeleteGreat! And he's a cutie... That's a great place to live too. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful. I know you are over the moon to be with your family again. Fox is a little cutie. His expression on the swing made me chuckle.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful unexpected treat Diane - you can now spend time with your family from USA and I'm sure little Fox is delighted!! enjoy every minute!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness has he grown ! That's a little boy now not a baby anymore ! Your winter weather looks like our summer weather (for the moment !)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are having a lot of fun and the Bondie beach is top.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Hey, that looks familiar! Wish I could join you there and our grandkids could play together.
ReplyDeleteYours is such a sweetie.
Enjoy your time together.
Fox is so cute and it must be great to see them again.......you will have to let us know more about the show in future posts......
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful for you.
ReplyDeleteHe is a cutie, fun for you to have him close again. Bondi Beach looks a bit grey in winter. I never can imagine Australia in winter.
ReplyDeleteDiane, Fox has grown so much and is absolutely adorable.
ReplyDeleteWe now have a GAP store don't we?
Enjoy your time spent with family and also frequenting Bondi Beach.
He is so cute! And I'm so jealous of your cool, watery, windy weather. I kind of cool off looking at Bill's hair blow in the wind. Two more months. Sometimes I totally hate this state.
ReplyDeleteMom used to scold me for eating the peas I picked right out of the pod. She wanted me to put the pod with the peas inside in the pan so we'd have enough to eat. I liked them, then, better right out of the pod than I did after she had cooked them.
ReplyDeleteI like the photos in this post and that bench is nice too.
beautiful beach beautiful baby enjoy
ReplyDeleteYou must be thrilled at their unexpected visit. I too find it hard to envisage Bondi Beach so chilly- looking and windswept. It looks more like Yorkshire's Scarborough!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful surprise! And OF COURSE you had to go down to join them all! Have a super time...your photographs are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great surprise! So glad you get to spend some time with them all -- and a nice bonus that it is in such a lovely spot.
ReplyDeleteDiane, what a nice surprise! I am sure you and Bill are very happy to have them home for awhile. Fox is as cute as ever. Just adorable. Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteAW, he has the sweetest little face!!! Glad you are ALL able to be together as a family for a little while!!
