ON THE BEACH

After the wedding ceremony the wedding party walked to the beach for photos. The first 3 were taken by Prudence Upton, Sonya's friend and official photographer.

 (It was a cold breeze, I needed a jacket unfortunately)

 (The photographer asked us to take off our glasses as they go dark in the sun.)

Bernie has 3 brothers and one sister. They all have partners and some have children. Fox is grandchild number 6.

    Absolutely MARVELLOUS pictures, Diane! You all look so happy and the bride, groom and their adorable baby son are such a gorgeous little family unit, so much love flows from them and all of you. How very, very proud you and Bill must be!!!

    Such nice pictures of all of you !!
    Wow ! 6 grandchildren, we are poor orphans against that, lol !

    Wow, what lovely photos of the happy couple and the family. Bernie has a large family - too beautiful. And you have sayings so much like South Africans (in-laws and out-laws!LOL) I love this casual day of love and happiness. Good of you to share it, Diane. You looked beautiful - your hair is so shiny and your dress was lovely. I'm envious. As the mother of the groom (twice) I had to wear beige and keep my mouth shut, LOL.

    Oh, it all looks lovely. I adore that photo you've put in the header - little Fox looks blissed out with happy mum and dad kissing him! It must be great to be guaranteed to get sunny outdoor pictures - even if it was a bit breezy. You can never be sure in England!

    These are wonderful family pictures on the beach. Everyone looks happy and relaxed. These are much nicer than some of the 'formal' pictures taken at weddings.

    I'd say, if there was a way to "Que" the birds, it couldn't be any better than what her photographer got! Sooo pretty! And I agree with everyone..it all look so relaxed and happy! The couple and little darling Fox are sooo beautiful & happy!

    Beautiful photographs, and I also love the natural look of these as well as the relaxed look of everyone enjoying the occasion you can tell.

    I look at these, and I can just smell that wonderful lavender in the breeze that day. I adore the smell of lavender. What a neat, neat idea.
