AN ENTERTAINING WEDDING

After the wedding ceremony and photos, we headed back to the garden for a few quirky speeches, dinner and the party.

 As I have mentioned both Bernie and Sonya work in the entertainment industry, so most of their friends come from similar backgrounds. This made for a very entertaining wedding.
Bernie and Sonya cut the cake with a drill saw.

This was a bridal waltz with a difference. Bernie chose to sing her a song backed by his brothers and friends. He managed to dance with her too. 

...and finish with a kiss.


Then they dressed ready for going away.

This was no ordinary wedding! It was fabulous fun.

    Wow, what a fun wedding this was! I haven't been to anything like it...but I would love to! I read all the wedding posts and watched the video...fun, fun. I love the bride's wedding dress....and the going away outfits! They sure look happy.

    How absolutely marvellous, Diane.
    I'll bet they've set a whole new trend in weddings, too! Super, super pictures of an exceedingly happy bridal couple and relaxed, enjoying-the-moment guests, with such a proud Mom looking on!

    BTW: What do they DO in the entertainment industry?

    Desiree: Bernie is an actor and TV presenter and Sonya has been a stage manager, venue manager, site manager and production manager. She is a full time mum at the moment.

    Bernie has a nice voice! What a wonderful, fun, relaxed wedding he and Sonja had!
    Their "going away" outfits are a scream! I bet everyone was so surprised and had a good laugh when they made their final appearance dressed in those 17th century costumes :)
