YOSEMITE VALLEY

After viewing Yosemite National Park from above we then drove down into the valley. It was very beautiful with lots of waterfalls. I accidentally left all my brochures in LA so I am having trouble remembering all the names. After surfing the net and my diary, I have worked out some of them.
 Yosemite Valley and Bridalveil Falls

I had to pinch myself to make sure I was really here in this magnificent place.

We walked up to the base of Bridalveil Falls sensible people had raincoats on, we didn't. The spray went for hundreds of metres.

The melted snow rushes past after hurtling over the falls.

  9. I really appreciate to see this beautiful place again. I have all this on video, I didn't make a single picture ! I hated cameras because they were not yet digital.

  10. Your photographs are really marvellous, Diane. I have never been to America and am unlikely to be doing so any time soon. Seeing these beautiful falls and mountains and hearing how awe-inspiring they were for you is such a treat. The scenery looks breath-taking! What a privilege to have visited this magnificent national heritage site.
