Time for another walk with TOH (The Other Half). We try to chose a different park each time. This time it was Springwood Conservation Park. The walk starts five minutes away from our front door and the circuit takes nearly an hour. It is pretty and shady with quite a few hills.
Early morning light .
Banksia
On the home stretch.

ReplyDeleteThis park looks like a wonderful place for a morning walk. I like the light you captured, as well as the ferns. Thank you for taking us along -- I didn't even get winded on the steep parts!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Diane, you are an early bird like I. "Deep breath" in these lovely, lush environs. There is so much to see and admire; if one looks with open eyes!
ReplyDeleteWish you a happy stay with your family in LA you will be thrilled to babysit your gorgeous little Fox! Take care T.
Diane; May I use your title picture from Brisbane.
ReplyDeleteI will mention that it is your property. Thank you T.
You sure can.
DeleteI would love to take a walk in that park. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice area for a walk. The title is famous.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Wonderful walk ... I can smell the eucalyptus from here!
ReplyDeleteMarvellous images Diane - how blessed you are to have such a delightful environment "within Coo-ee" of your home. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteVery picturesque place for "walkies".
ReplyDeleteSeems TOH picks up steam on the "going home stretch"?????
Methinks there just may be a hidden agenda in this "get fit" campaign???
Any new brochures floating around in your study, unseen by TOH, on "Trekking in the Andes"???
Have fun in LAX with the family.
Cheers
The Fitness Fanatic ( Colin.)
You have so many lovely parks just minutes from your door! My DH would LOVE that.
ReplyDeleteHi Diane, I'd love that walk... That fern is so beautiful... AND the Banksia looks like corn-on-the-cob sticking up out of the ground... ha ha ha....

Diane, you take a lovely photo. Makes me feel as though I've joined you and TOH on your walk, even though I'm a hemisphere away with pouring rain outside.
ReplyDeleteDiane, what a beautiful place to walk. The ferns are gorgeous. Thanks for taking me along on your walk, your photos are beautiful. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, I enjoyed that walk. At least is looks quite flat unlike most of our mountain walks.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a beautiful park. Perhaps there should be one day every year when bloggers throughout the world go to their local park and photograph it.
ReplyDeleteCan you send me the recepe how to walk a reluctant "better" half ? The park looks beautiful !
ReplyDeleteIts called nagging. Finding flat walks. Finding a different place each time. Reminding him how fat and unfit he is.
DeleteWhat beautiful surroundings, a walk I would love to go on but I enjoyed my virtual one, thanks Diane!
ReplyDeleteI noticed right away how far away he was from you there at the end - but the home stretch makes me hurry too.
ReplyDeleteI had to smile at Betsy's comment. At first glance I thought corn on the cob too.
Beautiful surroundings and paved paths are definitely a plus.
Lovely shots Diane!
