Kooralbyn Kapers

Yesterday we went to visit friends, Martin and Judith, who live at Kooralbyn, a small country town 70 min drive west from Brisbane.

You know you're in the country when you see cows

The view from where Martin and Judith live is lovely. We don't have many mountains in Australia so we get excited when we see blue hills.

They have a very nice garden.......

Fleur their Beagle was friendly, she was a champion show dog and breeder but now she keeps Martin company in retirement.

Martin barbecued Swiss sausages for lunch. These two old Swiss mates go back a long time. They were in the first grade together in Switzerland.

  4. Hi Diane, Kooralbyn area looks beautiful. Love the mountains in the background, never forget those having grown up in the mountains. It looks very lush and the garden is also a delight. You are blessed to have such nice friends. But is there not an old saying; "wie's hinein toent, toent's heraus."

  7. Thankyou for your comment on my blog. Certainly very different scenery over here. You have so many wonderful pictures here. I really enjoyed scrolling down and having a good look. The crabhole one really caught my attention. Like a piece of artwork. Landscapes and seascapes are so lovely too. The beagle is so cute.
