.......on Wednesday we went by train to the Brisbane city to have lunch with Richard, Josephine and Colin at the Whistle Stop Bar.
On Good Friday we invited Norma and Joe for lunch and to discuss holiday plans. Bill barbequed New Zealand Snapper, I stuffed it with asian style veggies and herbs. Joe and Norma are from NZ, so I thought they would like it.
This looks a mess but it tasted good. Greek salad, bean salad, pumpkin salad, Russian salad and a stuffed baked potato. The fish is hiding underneath.
I was too lazy to decorate eggs this year so we made do with a commercial variety, including NZ marshmellow chocolate eggs from Joe and Norma.
Oh wow would my grandfather have loved that snapper. Red snapper was his favorite. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fish dish - made my Good Friday attempt look darn right horrible. My invitation to the Bohlen fish feast must have got lost in the mail! Please in future phone me for your epicurean feasts. The post is NOT dependable!
ReplyDeleteAnd it was yummy.

ReplyDeleteObviously my invitation got lost in the mail. Please next time phone!
I think maybe the two of you could make plenty of money out of cook books! I will nominate myself as the official taster! My fee will be negotiable!
My fish was out of a packet - supposedly "John Dory" fillets - more like cardboard shark!
Looks like you had a nice time (again, lol)
