HAND ME DOWN JEANS, I MEAN GENES.

When I received this photo of Banjo, our grandson, from our daughter Sonya, it reminded me of how Sonya looked at that age. Then TOH said, "He reminds me of me when I was that age." So I dug up some old photos and sure enough you can see that the genes have been handed down in 3 generations.

  1. When I was a child people used to ask if my sibling & I were twins when I thought we looked NOTHING alike, and were ~18 months apart. Recently I started looking back through old photos - and have to now (sadly!) admit the resemblance is there!!

  3. Oh yes ! that's really amazing ! You know what I realized, that Toby looks exactly like me when I was his age ! First I thought I have seen this face already, and then I suddenly knew where ... on my old pictures ! He doesn't look like Dario at all when he was two !

  8. Yes, absolutely! And isn't it fun to see that! (The three photos would make a nice tryptych for Banjo's album. He won't care about it now, but someday he will!

  17. it is so interesting to look at pictures of the various generations and see the similarities. My mom has a picture of one of her great grandmothers that looks an awful lot like my youngest sister.

  21. I really enjoyed seeing your three generations pictures. What a similarity between the three! These would be a perfect gift for your daughter if framed in a side by side frame for three photos!

  27. What a fun comparison. Banjo seems quite different from his brother but I guess if you placed their photos side by side we would see similarities.

  28. I note in an Easter photo that Fox's hair has gone feral again. If I am right, Fox is the spitting image of his daddy ...
