Since Bill came out of hospital, he has been improving everyday. He is back to his old self now except he still uses the rollator for stability and safety. However, he managed a walk around the lake at Underwood Park. I was impressed.
Around the lake we go.
Ducks galore.
We haven't had rain for some weeks. The lake is very low.
Great news, Bill, I'm sure you enjoyed your circumnavigation!
ReplyDeletethe roots are beautiful, if not for the sad news the drought is why we can see them. I am so happy to hear Bill is doing so well and walking around the lake. this is super good news... Loving care from loved ones works better than the rehab in hospitals for sure...
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear Bill is improving and going out for walks. Love the ducks and moorhen. Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Bill is going better, it always takes some time to heal, whish him a soon return to normal healthy life.
ReplyDeleteGood to read that Bill is continuing to progress. Water lilies always cheer up a lake.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to read how your Bill is healing and getting more mobile every day. That is a wonderful lake to go around and be in the great outdoors.
ReplyDeleteThank you Diane for your sweet and comforting words on my latest blog post. Alzheimer's is horrible and my friend definitely isn't who she used to be.

Good to read that Bill is up and getting around. Hope that one day he will be walking around without the rollator, but good that it lets him enjoy being outdoors.
ReplyDeleteGreat Bill can walk around again. The lake is indeed low. It must be warm in Brisbane as well. The son of our friends enjoys living in Brisbane. Strange to see the roots of the trees. Love the moorhen and the lillies
ReplyDeleteThat's good new Diane that Bill walked the lake. It is looking flow indeed.
ReplyDeleteEso es bueno Diane. Y cada día bill irá mejor a seguir adelante. El lago está precioso.
ReplyDeleteBuen fin de semana.
Un abrazo.
What a lovely walk. I guess you were snapping photos while Bill was gently rolling along. Glad to hear he is getting well.
ReplyDeleteGood news about Bill. Good pictures from you. Thanks for both.
ReplyDeleteGreat news about Bill! Those beautiful scenes are good medicine :)
ReplyDeleteSomebody ones told me "Listen to your body" and that is true when it starts to hurt stop, that's the sign it's enough. Unfortunately we have to give up, our body doesn't make it anymore. I loved my aqua gym, that's finished too, and I hesitate with long travels. That I cannot walk quickly doesn't disturb me at all I never liked walking !! Only when I go for photo hunting !
