SPRING HAS SPRUNG EARLY

The gardens in our village are blooming beautifully even though its still winter. However, the Grevillea seem to be in flower all year round. The garden along the front fence of the village is full of flowering trees and birds. I am not a birder and I do not know all the names of birds but I am a photographer and love trying to capture them.

  1. I should move now and coming for spring ! Here it smells a bit autumn, although we will get very unusual warm weather in the next days ! It's a pity that Australia is so far away !

  2. Beautiful birds visiting your garden. We get lorikeets that come and steel our fruit and honey eaters but not the red ones, ours are yellow and gray.

  9. Lovely sharp photos of the bird and plants. Great detail.

While you're enjoying an early spring, we can't wait for fall and an end to this very hot and humid weather we've been having in my corner of the globe.

  19. What a variety of birds! Unfortunately, I have a dead hummer on my deck. We got the windows washed, and they are now so clean birds are flying against them! (I'm not taking any photos...)
