LET'S PARTY

It is that time of the year when we have lots of parties or Christmas lunches or break up parties or whatever you want to call a get together of friends from various groups like U3A classes, tennis groups and village parties.

We had a street party for the people who live in Tranquil Ave in our village. We call ourselves the "Tranquilizers." It is a casual get together where we set up a few tables for food. Everyone brings their own chair, drinks and a plate to share. We had so much food that we couldn't eat it all.

It was a great way to get to know new people who have moved into the village and to consolidate old friendships. We were pleased to see that every person in the street attended.

An uninvited guest

Bill made a short video of us having fun.

  16. Lucky you...great fun. Wondering why you all have short hair? Just wondering.

  17. I don't know about the others but in my opinion long grey hair is not always very attractive besides the fact that short hair is easier to look after and it is cooler in our hot summers.

  19. Nice to see everyone together like that. The unpredictable weather here always seems to work against such events in the UK though everyone in my street is very friendly too.

  20. You do have fun, don't you? As John said, the weather here tends to work against such street parties but we find other ways to gather and socialise.

  22. Looks like one of our potlucks, except setting up in the street is perfect, and bringing your own chairs, even better. That would be our block party but they seem to be not as popular in our area any more. Too many people moving in and out of the area I suppose. Fun photos and video!

  23. Your Tranquilizers street party looks like a hoot; that is a lot of smiling and laughing faces. I noticed a lot of ladies are wearing dresses, it has been a while since I wore a dress, but you sure look pretty.

  24. What a fun gathering you and your neighbors had with lots of great food and drink, Diane, not to mention the nice weather with folks all coat-less and in short sleeves. And, it's nice that everyone was able to gather for a "block" party, which we never had in any of the areas we've lived.

  26. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease 7 years ago, almost when all hope was lost due to several failed attempts in making her healthy. My desire to see her permanently free drives me into searching the internet for possible solutions which led me to a video about Alzheimer’s disease on YouTube, I met with a comment on how an herbal doctor cures Alzheimer patients with natural herbs. I collected the doctor's contact and reached out to him, we talked about it and he asked few questions about her physical challenges which I answered, and then he prepared the herbal medicine and sent them to me here in Tennessee with prescriptions on how to use attached, I ensured my mom took the herbal medicine accordingly and in 3 weeks of using this medication, we began to see improvement in her health and now, I am so glad to share this testimony that after 8 months, my mom is permanently healed from this horrible disease called Alzheimer, and now she is living her best life. Contact Dr. Rohan via dr.rohanronjohn@gmail.com you will come back for your testimony.
