THE FOREST CHORUS

I went for my morning walk in the forest.

I liked how the light danced on the plants.

Mother  is camera shy but not Joey craning his neck out of the pouch to see what I was doing.

As I walked along the cicada chorus entertained me. The noise is deafening. Turn your volume up to get the idea. there is a crescendo in the middle

  9. Beautiful! I lived in Daisy Hill for my first year teaching but didn't know about the Conservation Park (maybe it didn't exist then - or maybe it's the name of the bush drive I would take to school??).

  16. I wished I could meet a kangaroo in the woods, which btw is quite noisy ! It sounds as if you let out the air of a baloon !

  17. Our cicadas seem to do their thing in late Spring. They went on for a month noisy as anything but have been silent for weeks now.
