We love Tasmania, especially in summer, when it is too hot in Queensland. On the first trip we did a circut of the island state, with a stay at Cradle Mountain being the highlight. However, that was in the days before I had a digital camera so there are no pictures here of that trip. Later we did the Tamar Valley, the North and West Coastal areas.The last trip was to Hobart and the Huon Valley area.

Hmmm...I'm not sure I could walk over that Cataract Gorge. Colorado has a deep gorge (Royal Gorge) with a bridge to walk over it and I use that term lightly. I walked over it in the 1960's and I chickened out when I got out on it. It would s.w.i.n.g. I can't spell the feeling that it gave me. Maybe they've made it better by now.
