Getting back to my trip from Cairns to Darwin. (see map).
While we were staying at Adels Grove near Lawn Hill National Park, we were taken for a cruise along the Lawn Hill Gorge.
We set off in a small quiet boat.
The colourful cliffs towered over us.
As we came to where the gorge narrowed too much for us to pass, there were many creeks emptying into the gorge.
Many of the creeks came from underground springs.
After a mesmerising, beautiful meander along the gorge it was time to turn back and go for a hike. (next post).
Wow, this is so much like a gorge I barged through in the Kimberley Tour done by "Outback Spirit".
