  8. It's one of those places that once you have paid to enter you really want to take in as much as you can. I have fond memories of our last visit there 11 years ago - and hope to return in the next year or two.

  9. Didn't you say once that you don't like to photograph birds because you don't do a good job ... You are definitely NOT allowed to say that any longer ... these are wonderful pictures. Rain or shine.

  10. I love the owl photo ;) Its eyes are such a suppository of wisdom. The lorikeet is good too.

  11. I'm glad the photographer kept on with the tour when the rains came. The Lorikeet is the most colorful bird I've seen.

  12. More great pictures... That was great that the tour guide kept on with the tour despite the rain... Love it!!! I love the Eagle --since it looks so different from ours. Love that owl also!!!! Thanks for sharing.

  13. Well I can see them all.
Great photos - the Asian tourist brigade look disappointed with the weather and such a shame.
Were there not other parrot varieties besides those noisy lorikeets??
The crimson rosellas, the eastern parrots etc etc. I would be surprised if they weren't somewhere
    on show.
Pity it can't rain where it is needed - like all over Australia and now, before summer comes.
Well done, Diane on showcasing the wonderful bird life of Australia.
    Cheers
    Colin

  15. Excellent pictures. But nothing looks sadder than a bird of prey in the rain, does it?
