We had a great weekend. We had a special lunch on Sunday. A Swiss Raclette where you grill cheese on potatoes on a table grill. We added all sorts of food on top of the grill. It was fun and delicious.
After lunch we all went for a walk in the forest which is right next to our village. Silly blogger put all the photos in reverse order.

Banjo and Fox are getting tall. Banjo is 14 and fox is 16 and learning to drive. He has a job in a restaurant after school and on weekends.
What a nice family get together, Diane, and those grilled items looked like a great meal where everyone got to participate. Your grandsons are so grown up🙂
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of the family and you and Bill. That area is ever so pretty Diane.
ReplyDeleteI think it is great that the entire family can drive or fly up to Brisbane to spend a weekend of fun. The only advantage of all living in one city is that you can dinners or picnics every weekend, if you wanted.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of your family, it is nice they all came for a visit.
The boy are growing up fast.
Take care, enjoy your day and the new week ahead.
What a lovely weekend to have everyone together. Raclette looks like such a fun way to share a meal because everyone gets to make their plate just how they like it. The forest walk afterwards must have been the perfect way to spend the afternoon too. I smiled reading about Banjo and Fox, it's amazing how quickly children grow up, especially hearing that Fox is already learning to drive and working after school.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great weekend ... lovely photographs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Happy times and good memories time for all.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and memories, Diane. A happy and fun day with family; it doesn't get better than that.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to live right next to a forest and how great that Bill can enjoy it too in his scooter. Your raclette lunch sounds delicious. If I ever got to Switzerland I'd love to have raclette there.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun outing with the family! Love Bill's ride!
