THEN THE SUN CAME OUT

We have had rain for a week and I was not able to go for my morning walks with my friends. However, today the sun came out so at 6:30 in the morning chill we set off for our walk through Priest Gully. There was evidence of all the rain that we have had.

Back in the village the flowers were drenched in raindrops.

Later we went for coffee at "Coffee in the Woods". It is a timber showroom with a coffee shop inside. It was something different.

  2. Always nice to get out for a walk after the rain. Your photos show how lovely it can be and what a nice shot of your coffee cup showing the interesting background. Wishing you both a great weekend Diane.

  9. Nice that the rain did stop so you could resume your walks, Diane. We are in the midst of several days of rain on a holiday weekend, but thankfully some intermittent breaks. Having a sit down and a cup of coffee is a nice reward for your outdoor activity.

  11. A good drench for the plants and wildlife can be a good thing. I hope it wasn't too much. It looks beautiful to me.
