During lockdown it was good to be able to walk or sit in our village Zen Garden. It was a place where the troubles of the world disappeared and I could relax and enjoy the beauty around me. Our restrictions are relaxing every two weeks. We have very few cases of Covid 19 in the country now and no new cases for a few days. However, after the 'Black Lives Matter' protest marches, we have to wait to see if the cases escalate before there is more freedom. This is the gate to the Zen garden.
That is a good place to take a rest indeed, I always walk here on the dike along the lake, that has the same effect I think. Watching the rippling water and the birds in the sky above, makes me feel good and calm.
ReplyDeleteHello, the Zen garden is beautiful. I love the waterlilies. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThe gardens do look wonderful and lovely photos too.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope there are no more new cases in Queensland and other States and Territories.
We have been 27 days without any new cases and two with on the North West Coast...so fingers crossed.
It's beautiful and beautiful in your Zen Garden village ... I'm amazed. Greetings from Indonesia.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place to chill out ! I would need that when making breaks between house and apartment, but so far it went smooth, I have a lot of help from my friends. Each day a little bit.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect place to rest body, soul and spirit.
ReplyDeleteWe all need those "away" times.

ReplyDeleteA lovely place to stop and relax and just enjoy the moment. Hope we can all get back to normal soon.
ReplyDeleteYour Zen Garden is absolutely gorgeous. I hope you do not see a rise in Covid-19 cases and that the restrictions can continue to be eased.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place. I would spend time there every morning if I lived there. Or maybe in the evening, just at dusk ....
ReplyDeleteThe perfect place to nourish the spirit I would say. I hope you guys stay virus free! Of course, you two, but also all Q'landers.
ReplyDeleteOh it’s wonderful to have a place like this to relax and meditate (or just veg out and daydream as I would do ... who knows, maybe that’s the same thing as meditation). I am glad you guys are able to lift some restrictions and that is because of your good leadership from the beginning. ... Ours just gets more awful by the day. Every time you think he couldn’t get worse .... (obviously I really need that Zen garden))).
ReplyDeleteThat zen garden is absolutely gorgeous Great photos and I hope you don't get any new cases anymore
ReplyDeleteHow lucky you are to have such a lovely spot close by. I have loved this style of garden ever since visiting Japan.
ReplyDeleteGosh how beautiful Diane, how lucky to have such a garden to relax and find your inner peace ✨ Fingers crossed there will be no new cases.
ReplyDeleteYes, Diane, it is indeed very nice that you can escape to this lovely garden area. While we don't have something quite as scenic, we are able to get outside most evenings to sit by the riverside. And hopefully the protests won't result in new virus outbreaks and then further shut-downs.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lilies. It all looks very peaceful.
ReplyDeleteLovely photographs you have shared, I think the Zen garden looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
This looks like Paradise.
