CITY LIGHTS

We went into the city to see the enchanted garden lights at Roma Street Gardens but the queues and the wait was so long that we turned away and went to the City Hall instead.
The lights were continually changing and telling a story.

The tree in the square was also changing patterns.

 We walked down the Mall.

 A friendly photo bomber.

The casino which is in the heritage Treasury Building.

 Sculptures reflecting the lights.

 We crossed the Victoria Bridge
and saw the Kurilpa Bridge lit up too.

  2. Beautiful lights every where. I love Christmas lights. The more, the merrier. WE have a lot of lovely lights in public spaces but if you want to see the really spectacular displays you must sadly pay to enter the parks or various places where the displays exist. I guess it's fair considering the electricity cost to run the displays is enormous. Have a very Merry Christmas.

  3. Nice lighting on Victoria Bridge. The photo bomber is funny. I like the blurring of the people in the photo of the rocking horse.

  8. I'm sorry you didn't get to see the lights you went into town to see, but you got some gorgeous photos of the other lights.

I hope you have a very Merry Christmas.

  9. It looks so pretty there. Nigel has a God son who used to run a restaurant in Brisbane but it seems now he is manager of one of the hotels, not sure which one though. Have a great Christmas. T'other Diane

  12. WOW Diane, what a great light show at holiday time! The mall you walked seemed even more festive than some we've been in here. I especially liked the tree with the changing light patterns.
