ORCHID ART

I was given an orchid years ago from my daughter, Sonya. After the first flowers died off it never flowered again until last year. This year it has bloomed again. I have finally found the right place for it. I was so pleased that I took lots of photos and even practiced with my macro lens.

  9. Lovely, you had faith to keep it so long. I've never had much success with them but perhaps I wasn't patient enough.

  19. Stunning! Mine love the light but not sun and not too much water and they flower almost all year round. I used to be afraid of orchids, but they are surprisingly easy to keep once you find that sweet spot for them to live.

  24. Your orchid has a very beautiful color and your photos are wonderful, Diane!

When my Mother passed away a friend sent an orchid plant to me. It has bloomed every spring since then, but this year it did not send out a new stem. the leaves are still very green, so it is alive but I fear no flower will come.
