I haven't had much time for blogging this past week due to too much partying. TOH celebrated his 70th three times. First with Birthday Bear on Tuesday and..........
On Saturday night we celebrated again just with family and it was time to say goodbye to our children as they were flying back home the next day.
We had a delicious dinner at Baan Thai Restaurant close to home.
My SIL, David and I were having a happy time. I was trying out the camera on my new iphone for the first time on this night. Unfortunately the photos are a bit grainy due to the low light.
During the 4 days that they were here we had iphone lessons. Oh to have fast thinking brains like these young ones.
Ha, all young people have had to learn is Iphone. We have had to learn crank phones, dial phones, Ericaphones, plastic phones, then mobile bricks, then weird mobile phones. How good are we!
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to have an I-phone, I only hardly use the phone. I like all the other things like wordfeud etc. Bill must know by now he is 70 I think ha,ha.
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy then with dinners as we have as well. Happy Birthday to your husband.
ReplyDeleteGreat that you have an iPhone, join the clan, even though I have one I use my Samsung :)
Happy Birthday to your husband.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the iPhone.
It was great, having all those parties, just for moi. Thank you darling for organising them. Can we do it again when I turn 80, he he.
ReplyDeleteThree times 70= two hundred and ten. But Bill doesn't look a day over 65.
ReplyDeleteHaving an iphone at seventy's pretty cool, though! As is having three different parties to celebrate it. :)
ReplyDeletenow that is a celebration, three times and with family. wish someone would give me an iphone, just for the camera that is in it... i am with you in wishing i had the young brains
ReplyDeleteThat is completely true! The kids coming up today and so technically advanced from birth. It's just amazing. I got a smart phone and in many ways every day it prove itself to be much smarter than I am. Frustrating, also.
ReplyDeleteYou all were partying fools eh? Looks like all had an amazingly fun time!
ReplyDeletelovely occasions and belated birthday greetings to your hubby Diane. "I" anything is out of my league; I'm sure you'll have lots of fun though getting to know your new mobile
ReplyDeleteYeah the young pick up how to use these new devices so easy but if we think back to when we where young we would had been the same way.......
ReplyDeleteLooks like Bill had a great birthday. So glad the kids could get home for several days. Congrats on the new iPhone. We keep talking about getting one --but so far, we have refrained....
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Happy Birthday to Bill! Sounds like a great time partying all week! And congrats on your new Iphone. I hope this week is just as fun!
ReplyDeleteYou got a new phone for Bill's birthday ;>)!! Lovely celebrations.
ReplyDeletePlease pass on my birthday wishes to Bill. What a terrific milestone! It looks like he had a great time celebrating this rather special birthday.
ReplyDeleteI'm a HUGE fan of multiple significant birthday celebrations! That way you get to spend quality time with everyone - AND you get several special meals instead of just one!!! I don't need to ask if you all had a great time - it's obvious!
ReplyDeletehappy birthday to bill!!loved seeing your photos. ooh fun, looks and sounds like a perfect birthday!
ReplyDeletecongrats on your new iphone too.
wishing a great week ahead!
big hugs~
Diane thanks for letting me know that there was a problem with the link, hopefully sorted! We have also bee celebrating 70 birthdays, must be the year for them, mine come up in August! Not sur I would have a clue what to do with an iPhone, I still have a very old Nokia that only does calls and texts and that is it! Take care Diane
ReplyDeleteDespite all these festivities for his 70th birthday, Bill doesn't look like a Buddha yet ! How nice of your SIL to give you his "old" iPhone !
ReplyDeleteBill looks like he's having a wonderful time too! 70 looks good on him. :)
ReplyDeleteLucky you on the iPhone! I would love one. I've seen pictures taken with them that are super. Enjoy!
Hope you got that comment it seemed to just disappear!!
ReplyDeleteI can understand why you had to make time to celebrate such an important event. It looks as if all had a great time. I'm sure you will enjoy the iPhone.
ReplyDeleteAha, Bill has arrived at the 70 club; Happy birthday!
