No I'm not swearing but it makes me feel good when I say the name of this tree. We are having a hot wet summer and the garden is loving it, especially the weeds. The Buckinghamia Celsissima is flowering and it looked good in the evening sun so I trotted outside to take a shot and of course it started to rain but the sun was still shining. Hope the lighting effect shows up in the photos.
Looked back to our house and a rainbow had ended on the roof. The Buckinghamia is to the right of the house. I rushed inside to see if there was a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow........... but no bucking luck.
A few weeks ago the flowers started forming.
Now the flowers are nearly ready to fall. on the left is looking over our deck. On the right is from the road.
