In Australia Mother's Day is on the second Sunday in May. So today is Mother's Day. We have been invited to our daughter's place for lunch. This year Mother's Day has fallen on the 10th May, which is also our 57th wedding anniversary and next Wednesday it is Fox's 16th birthday so we have a lot to celebrate today.
This is when Bill proposed to me at the Mandarin Restaurant in Port Moresby in January1969. We were married on 10 May 1969.57 years later 2026

Happy Mother's Day, Diane and happy anniversary, too. Those grandchildren grow up so quickly, don't they? I've just returned from my 31 yr old grandson's wedding in Bali. Hard to believe he is that old.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought about photos of newborns for years, but your photo of Fox looked utterly beautiful in 2010.

ReplyDeleteLovely pictures! Fox is all grown up now! Your Mother's day is same as ours in America. Years ago, I used to call British Airways and ask them the date of Mother's Day in England (or Mothering Sunday, as they say). I had to know early for my English mother in law!
