The grandsons were on school holidays, mid term break and Easter. Bernie was home working on the house but last week he had to go to USA for work. Sonya took a few days leave and took the boys to the beach for a few days. She invited us to go with them and Carol flew from Melbourne to spend some days with us.
Sonya had found a great apartment that permitted dogs so we had Sonya's dog with us too. The apartment was right on the beach at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. The view was amazing.
You are spoilt, and deserve to be.
ReplyDeleteLovely family Diane. Good photos too. It's rather nice there at Broadbeach. Glad you all enjoyed.
ReplyDeleteThe Gold Coast. So beautiful. My sister lived in Australia for a while, she hated to leave! So glad you got to spend time with family at such a gorgeous spot.
ReplyDeleteYour daughters do treat you and Bill very well, Diane, and it is lovely to see you all enjoying such good times together and with your very grown up looking grandsons as well.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to go together to the beach ! I would love that too, but with my a bit strange DIL, it's impossible. Well, I got used too. But when she comes she is very friendly and helpful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, a lovely beach! Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteWhat is that cabin elevated way off the ground, with Life Guard written on the side? You wouldn't want to rush up and down that steep ladder, carrying injured swimmers.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun reading and looking at the great time you all had. Thanks Diane!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Diane.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful few days you have enjoyed, Diane. Looks perfect weather.
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely. You are very fortunate to have such a caring family who want to spend time with you.
ReplyDeleteI love a beach getaway -- especially with family! Fun to see you and Banjo waiting together for your coffee -- it's really special when you can be friends with not only your grown-up children but also your (nearly) grown-up grandchildren. We who have made it to this stage are so fortunate!! (heck, I've almost made that stage with the two older great-grands, now that I'm thinking about it.)_
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photographs and that breakfast looks yummy :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
