FAMILY FOR LUNCH

Our lovely family often come for lunch on the weekend. They always cook it for us. Last weekend they cooked Burritos.

It is so nice to have them living in Brisbane now. However, they do find the heat a bit much but they can live with air conditioning. Fox always pulls a face in photos, trying to look cool. Banjo will be 14 next month and Fox will be 16 the month after.

Three tall people in our kitchen.

They used to be little when I went to Melbourne to baby sit them. I have to stand on tippy toes for a hug now.

  1. I love feeding the grandchildren, as long as they aren't too fussy about what they will or will not eat. But I am very impressed with your idea of leaving the food out on a buffet table, instead of serving up the plates myself.

  4. The first thing I noticed in the first 4 people in the kitchen shot was how tall the boys are now. Wow, they were tiny when we first met them....... I wish I had tall people cooking in my kitchen or even short people cooking...

  7. That is so nice that you can spend the weekends together. I see my 2 men not so often, but there is the telephone. Dario has still his 2m but Toby now with his 15 years is 2m3, he becomes taller then his father. He plays basketball and his friend is 2.13 m "long". I feel like a dwarf when they are here. Toby likes all grandmas and pushes the wheelchairs around, he is really very kind to the elderly.

  8. Yes, the Grands do have a way of growing up ...
Love the pictures and isn't it fun to have family closer? I wish our one son and his family were closer. Grateful for the other son and family living within a 10 minute drive from us. Better than the 13 hour drive for the other one...

  13. I loved being hugged by my towering grandsons and am eternally grateful that they are happy to indulge me with as many hugs as I want. Unfortunately, there aren't many opportunities. So glad for you that yours are now close to you.
