So the weather has cooled down and the rain has stopped. Just perfect for a walk around the lagoon.
The ducks are resting on the tree.
Bill managed without a stick or wheelie walker.
Lots of water dragons on the path around the lagoon.
Duck nap time and one cormorant.
The water dragon looks quite adorable, not ugly as you might normally think.
ReplyDeleteOh, lunch looks so Good! Love the Kangaroo ...

Hello Diane,
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos from your walk around the lagoon. I love the ducks and water dragon and the cool evening visitor is cute. Did you try to leave a critter link, it is not working. Take care and have a great weekend.
Diane, it’s always nice to get out and see what’s going on in nature and also great to see that Bill managed without supportive devices. Easy dinners are our favorite too, although we also make harder ones and sine is always good with a meal🍷Cheers
ReplyDeleteI'd love to walk around and see water dragons, not that they do much.
ReplyDeleteYour dinner looks simple, and also nice.
Your evening visitor is most interesting, clearly on its way to an important event.
now I am jealous, I want to see a kangaroo hopping down our street.. so very happy to see Bill walking without no support needed. things have changed here and for the past two weeks bob can't move with out the help of the walker. praying he will one day walk down our street again... love the lagoon and the ducks
ReplyDeleteLove the different wildlife "Down Under" great photos.
ReplyDeleteI'm all about easy meals too. The easier the better for us.
Great to see Bill without a walker or cane... What a beautiful place to walk.
Sue
It's pleasing to see Bill walking along well and yourself I resume too Diane.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of the area and we have to have potatoes with our dinner in the evening time.
Good to see Bill walking so well. What interesting walks you have with all that wildlife.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to take a walk on a coolish day and Bill is certainly doing very well without a cane or walker. I was taking a good look at your header and it struck me how very large Brisbane is with all it's skyscrapers. I really don't remember it having so many highrises when I travelled there but then again that was decades ago. Have a wonderful Easter weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane for fixing the link, I enjoyed your critter post, especially the water dragon and kangaroo.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up and sharing your critter post. Take care, enjoy your day and have a great week. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Bill looks real good after all the miseries ! Unfortunately we have no mini dragons here, but in Italy yes, they are cute ! I am jealous that you have a Kangaroo hopping around, I wished we had that in our park too, but there are only a fox and the castle cats, squirrels too.
ReplyDeleteWe eat more easy meals now too. We cook big meals sometimes and freeze portions for later. You sure saw a lot of critters on your walk!
ReplyDeleteLovely photographs from your walk around your lagoon.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to see a kangaroo hopping along your street.
All the best Jan
Beautiful pictures of the lagoon and its inhabitants. Vienna sausages and sauerkraut sounds like a comforting meal.
ReplyDeleteYou are cooling down as we are thankfully warming up. Bill looks like he is doing well, I hope that you are as well. Love the Water Dragon, it is beautiful. Have a good week and a happy Easter, t'other Diane
ReplyDeleteLoved these pictures of your walk.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a water dragon before--or even heard of one. What an interesting looking creature. And what fun to see a kangaroo hopping down your street.
I'm glad to see Bill walking well and enjoying the beautiful sights there on the trail with you! Have a very Happy Easter, Diane and Bill!
