RIVER CRUISE IN MALACCA

When we were in Malacca with our tour group from the village, we were taken on a river cruise in the evening. It was cooler and the scenery and bridges were very interesting.

Then it was off to dinner for another delicious banquet. Our CEO, Chiou See and her family found us the nicest restaurants that could seat 57 of us.

  7. While I do not like eating with 57 people to overwhelm a restaurant (I much more like quiet and cozy) I think this would be an interesting place to visit.

  11. A Malaccan evening river cruise sounds great. Like in most Asian countries, eat the local food and you will eat very well.

  14. Catching up and read through your latest three posts and am just commenting all at once to save your eyes! The extra overnight trip to another country was quite an unexpected bonus -- how wonderful to have your CEO as an experienced guide ... she really knows how to do things right! (And you are a good virtual guide as well by the way). I am so struck by how colorful everything was in Malacca -- just a feast for the eyes everywhere you look. The river cruise would of course be right up our alley as we love boats and boating, but everything you did sounded wonderful (and everything you ate). I'm not wild about crowds either, but it would have been worth it for this experience!
