THE BOYS IN BRISBANE

 Last Saturday our two daughters and two grandsons arrived at Brisbane Airport after flying all night from LA. Sonya and Bernie are moving back to Australia....hooray! Sonya and the boys are staying in Brisbane for a few weeks while Bernie settles into his new job in Melbourne. Carol flew to LA to help Sonya finish packing and shipping belongings home as well as helping with the boys on the flight to Brisbane.
The boys were pleased to see us as we pulled into the pick up spot at the airport. The girls looked a little tired.
 It sure has livened up our quiet home.  Carol stayed overnight and then flew home to Sydney. We have taken the children to the local playgrounds.

 We have been to the forest to see koalas and find friends to play with.

 We have been to the lagoon to feed the ducks.

 Banjo taste tests the bread first.

Fox was hand feeding them.


Banjo watered the pot plants for me before they packed up the hire car and headed down to Mullumbimbi for a Circus Festival and four days camping.  
Sonya has to get used to driving on the left again.

    So glad they arrive safely. The children will adjust immediately to change. The poor adults may need some sleep!

    You must be so pleased they are moving back to Australia and if it is to Melbourne, at least it is a lot closer than the US. Lucky the drain problem happened before they arrived and not when they arrived.

    Nice to know that they all arrived safely. Now the fun begins with active boys. I bet it's good to have them home. Melbourne is not that far away.

    Very exciting to have Sonya and family back in Australia! The boys seem lively and full of life. How wonderful to be able to visit them (and have them visit you) without flying international!

    I've been keeping up with you all ---and the good news about the kids coming home.... LOVE IT.... So glad that they will be closer to you --since kids do grow up so quickly and you don't want to miss anymore than you have to!!!!! I laughed at you saying that Sonya has to learn to drive on the left again... TRUE--I'm sure.... ha

    Isn't it wonderful to have kids come to Australia. I like to get my nephews and nieces to look at my storage company premises and see where I work besides looking at all the wild life here!
