BANJO'S BIRTHDAY

Our grandson Banjo, turned 13 and we had a little celebration at home. Aunty Carol was here from Melbourne, because she took me to the eye hospital to have my second cataract done.

He was happy to become a teenager.

But best of all was the XBOX.

The next day went to see the progress of Sonya and Bernie's house renovations.

Then they took us to lunch for a delicious Italian meal.
Bill had his favourite Tiramisu. Two new cataract lenses so no glasses.

  1. Your grandson was happy to become a teenager but he was warning other people to enter his room at their own risk. But he is an absolute sweetheart.
Most boys (and girls, I suppose but I only had sons) are gorgeous until they are 17 or 18. Only then do they drive, drink, use vulgar language and don't listen to their parents.

  2. Everyone is looking great, and I wish I had cataracts so I no longer have to wear glasses. Maybe in time... Gosh, I remember when your grandsons were fresh baked.

  9. Happy Birthday to Bango and gosh Diane how time flies. Remember his parents' wedding!
The eyes look good and it sure makes a difference to be able to see much better especially distance.
    You all are looking good.

  10. You are all looking very happy, Diane, and your grandson looks very happy with his 🎂 gift. It is wonderful to be free of glasses and you and Bill look great. Hope that you will post future updates on Sonya & Bernie's future home. Thank you for your condolences on my friend's passing. Like yourself, I am very careful about avoiding a fall and continue doing the at home assigned PT exercises.

  12. How nice to have your girls around ! And Banjo became also a teenager, like Toby. According to my son, Toby is in full puberty and that bothers his helicopter father, who had lost his "toy". Toby told me that fortunately they have a dog now, so he doesn't have to go with his father, lol ! Now he is always with friends the only thing they do together is playing Golf. Sonja's house makes progresses !

  15. Such a handsome grandson (they both are) and a milestone BD indeed. Its an amazing feeling not to have to grab for the glasses when you first wake up isnt it? Routine for me over 10 years later, but I remember.
