  7. Hi Diane, Great macros... There is so much beauty in things WHEN we can view them up close and personal!!!! I do a good job of blurring my macro pictures...

    Hugs,

  11. Gorgeous as always. The Bird of Paradise brought back memories. I had never seen one of these until a doctor I worked with at UT, Dr. Stanfield Rogers, brought one to me out of his greenhouse one day. I adored that beautiful flower.

  12. My zygot cactus is in flower and budding everywhere, too. I have two fuchia coloured plants and two vanilla coloured plants. All spread around my courtyard. Am waiting for them all to bloom before taking an overhead shot.

Bit mucky weather down here today ...

  17. Thanks for your support, everyone. Would you believe my camera went out today, Error 01, The lens contacts need cleaning. I got my book out and did what it said but no joy. So off to the shop tomorrow. Hope its fixed before next trip.

  18. Luscious shots Diane - I can almost feel the petals velvety softness between my fingers.

Bummer about the camera. I remember my first DSLR lasted a week before I took it back to the shop (dead pixels in the sensor). Swapped it for my Canon and haven't looked back since.
