Beautiful pictures. I think it's about time i investigated what my camera can do.
These are all great, Diane. My two favourites are the blue African violet and the seedpod ;)
Beautiful Diane, I love the seed pods and the flowering cactus the best.
Beautiful macro's Diane. I love to see the details. Makes me appreciate nature even more.
Love your macro's, you see so much amazing details, it is a whole new flower now.
beautiful macro, love those pods
Hi Diane, Great macros... There is so much beauty in things WHEN we can view them up close and personal!!!! I do a good job of blurring my macro pictures... Hugs,Betsy
You are getting some wonderful pictures while 'mucking about' with your macro lens. These are magnificent.
That seed pod is amazing, and I always love African violets.— KKay, Alberta, CanadaAn Unfittie's Guide to Adventurous Travel
Wow ! congratulations the macros came out very well !
Gorgeous as always. The Bird of Paradise brought back memories. I had never seen one of these until a doctor I worked with at UT, Dr. Stanfield Rogers, brought one to me out of his greenhouse one day. I adored that beautiful flower.
My zygot cactus is in flower and budding everywhere, too. I have two fuchia coloured plants and two vanilla coloured plants. All spread around my courtyard. Am waiting for them all to bloom before taking an overhead shot.Bit mucky weather down here today ...
Wonderful macro shots, Diane! You are doing very well with your macro lens.
Nice macros, Diane! Wonderful details of each flower.
Oh what beautiful flowers you are so talented with a camera and photo software...............
Love the seed pod and the last Africian violet!I knew you could do it. :)
Thanks for your support, everyone. Would you believe my camera went out today, Error 01, The lens contacts need cleaning. I got my book out and did what it said but no joy. So off to the shop tomorrow. Hope its fixed before next trip.
Luscious shots Diane - I can almost feel the petals velvety softness between my fingers.Bummer about the camera. I remember my first DSLR lasted a week before I took it back to the shop (dead pixels in the sensor). Swapped it for my Canon and haven't looked back since.
I'm usually a sucker for blue flowers - but that strelitzia is just sensational!!Have a great day!
Wunderschöne Fotos - what wonderful photos.
Wow, I did not even know that bird of paradise have seedpods! And they are very common here...wonder how I missed that?? I'll be looking for them now.
