GET THE TISSUES

Some of you may have seen this on Bill's blog but for those who haven't this is a short video that Bill made for Sonya's wedding instead of making a "Father of the Bride" speech. It makes me cry.

  13. Oh my word, Diane;) what a beautiful tribute from Bill to his daughter. I love that your girls were always together. Obviously close and the expressions on both their faces at all times are of happiness and security. Just goes to show that Bill bestowed the best gift on his children and that was to love their mother. Thanks for sharing. Jo

  14. Hi Diane; I watched the video on Bills facebook. It is a beautiful "speech"! It is always a little sad to look back and see the children in all their lovelinesses.Life goes on and as long they are happy and contend, everything is fine. The grand children add an other dimension again. Best wishes Trudi.

  16. I saw this on Facebook, Diane, but could not leave a comment. It is so beautiful, and the song so exactly right for the occasion.

It reminded me of my grandfather on my wedding day. My grandmother said he came home after the wedding, stood at my empty bedroom, and got tears in his eyes. Daddy's are wonderful!
